As LA-based David Beckham prepares to join Italian football club AC Milan in January he can rest easy knowing he’ll have some of his biggest supporters on hand, namely his wife and kids. Victoria has confirmed she and the couple’s three sons will be joining him in Europe.

While it was initially reported Posh and the couple’s boys – nine-year-old Brooklyn, Romeo, six, and three-year-old Cruz – would remain in the US during during David’s two-month stint with the Italian club, the former Spice Girl has decided the family will be staying together.

The move, which takes place during a break in the American soccer season, is a clever career manoeuvre which will help Becks stay match fit for potential inclusion in the England team. A sojourn in one of the world’s fashion capitals will also stand fledgling designer Victoria in good stead. “I have so many friends there and my experience of Italy is great,” she says. “The best thing you can give a designer is the ability to travel and experience different cultures, countries, and so for me it’s huge.”

While David stays busy on the pitch, the 34-year-old has revealed she’ll use the time to prepare her next collection, due to hit the New York catwalk in February.[/lang_en][lang_fr]Victoria Beckham va passer deux mois dans l’une des capitales de la mode. Et l’ancienne Spice Girls est persuadée que son voyage va l’influencer pour ses créations.

Elle ajoute “Bien sûr, je vais aussi être très occupée, parce que je préparerai ma nouvelle collection, que vous découvrirez en février à New York. J’ai tellement d’amis là-bas et mes expériences en Italie ont toujours été géniales. La meilleure chose que puisse avoir un créateur, c’est la possibilité de voyager et de rencontrer différentes cultures, différents pays, et pour moi, c’est énorme !”[/lang_fr]

Soccer star David Beckham and his wife Victoria can add Madonna to their A-list friends in America, after they were spotted dining with the singer in Los Angeles.

The British couple moved to America last year and has since been spotted out with the likes of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Longoria Parker.

Now it has emerged the duo treated the Material Girl to a sushi dinner in one of their favorite restaurants, celebrity haunt Nobu, whilst she was on a break from her Sticky & Sweet world tour, according to British newspaper the Daily Mail.[/lang_en]

The former Spice Girl is said to be concerned the soccer star, who is joining Italian club AC Milan on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy, will be bombarded with offers from beautiful Italian women.

A source said: “Victoria wasn’t thinking of going to Milan with David. But when stories appeared about her letting him go there on his own, there were lots of comments about how foolish she was being.”

Victoria’s spokesman has denied she is planning on living with David for the duration of his two-month loan which starts in January, but insists Victoria will be taking the couples’ sons Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six, and Cruz, three, to visit regularly.

The spokesman said: “She was always planning on splitting her time between Milan and Los Angeles.

“She’s not going to uproot her three sons but was always planning on being in Europe in January and February for the fashion shows.”

In 2004, David was accused of cheating on Victoria with his personal assistant Rebecca Loos while he was playing for Real Madrid. He has always vehemently denied the allegations.[/lang_en]

Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, had an airport arrival on Saturday more befitting The Beatles, according to an eyewitness. Crowds of photographers and fans went crazy for a glimpse of the former Spice Girl after she landed at Los Angeles International Airport.

“I haven’t seen that kind of madness in a while,” an eyewitness tells E! News. “It wasn’t like it was Michael Jackson or the Beatles. It was just Posh coming home.”

Posh’s security guards anticipated some sort of commotion. Guards set up barricades and alerted airport police to stand by. But when Posh arrived from Europe in her trench coat, sunglasses, hat and boots, all signs of civility vanished.

The crowd of photographers and fans waiting for Posh became unmanageable.”The photographers were going crazy,” an eyewitness tells E! “She tried to exit the sliding doors to exit the airport and everyone wanted to get in front of her. Security started to push everyone out of the way.”

One of Posh’s security guards pushed a photographer onto the ground. The photographer got back up and pushed back.

Posh, though, kept walking calm and cool.[/lang_en]

The three bedroomed house is worth about $380,000 (GBP250,000) – but its connection to the star has seen its value soar.

A former bodyguard to David and Victoria Beckham was killed instantly by a terrorist bomb blast in Iraq which showered molten metal into his vehicle, an inquest heard today.

Merrick McDonald, 42, and a British colleague fell victim to the explosively formed projectile (EFP) near Baghdad while leading a convoy protecting an American engineer in October 2006.

North Staffordshire Coroner’s Court heard that the former soldier, who moved from Stoke-on-Trent to Cyprus shortly before his death, was working for a private security company at the time of the blast.

His widow, Michelle McDonald, told the hearing how her husband had served with the Royal Navy and the Royal Marines for a total of 16 years before joining Staffordshire Police in 1995.

Although the Beckhams were not mentioned during the inquest, Mrs McDonald confirmed that her husband left the police in 2003 to work for a company which specialised in close protection work.
