In the past Victoria Beckham has complained of “looking really awful naked”, but in a new series of lingerie ads for Armani the mum-of-three shows off a figure most women would envy.

Reclining backwards onto a bed, wearing only underwear and sky-high heels, the toned 34-year-old poses provocatively in the shots promoting the Italian fashion house’s spring/summer collection.

The former Spice Girl has appeared in Armani ads before, both solo and with her husband David Beckham. And last year she followed in his footsteps by signing her own £12 million, three-year contract with the label.

With so many aspects of her career to juggle, it’s little wonder Victoria has to call on her friends to help out with child care once in a while. And on Sunday it was Katie Holmes who stepped forward to entertain the British couple’s youngest sons, Romeo, six, and four-year-old Cruz.

Tom Cruise’s actress wife was spotted in Los Angeles with the boys and her two-year-old daughter Suri, heading for a playdate at The Children’s Arts Studio on Santa Monica.

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham is taking Italian lessons after her husband David’s extended loan move to Milan was confirmed.

Victoria Beckham has enrolled in Italian lessons in readiness for her visits to Milan, insiders have told The People. Husband David has confirmed a unique ‘timeshare’ deal which has allowed him to extend his loan deal with AC Milan until July before heading back to the LA Galaxy with an option to return permanently to the Italian club in November.

“She is determined to become fluent. It’s tough so far but she’s made it her own little project,” an insider claims. “She wants to show her support to David – and speak to the likes of Dolce and Gabbana in their own language.”[/lang_en]

For while most women have only a few bags at their disposal the former Posh Spice has a collection of hundreds, and is rarely seen using the same one twice.

[lang_en]DAVID and VICTORIA BECKHAM have sent a message of sympathy to reality TV star JADE GOODY, who was diagnosed with terminal cancer in February (09).

The letter, handwritten by former Spice Girls singer Victoria, offers condolences to the former Big Brother star. The couple also sent Goody two replica shirts from England soccer ace David’s current club AC Milan, for her two sons, Bobby, five and Freddie, four.

The letter reads, “Both David and I are genuinely moved by your fight against this cruel illness. We are both thinking of you at what must be a terrible time. “We wanted to offer your two lovely children a gift we hope they will both like. We know they are mad keen football fans so we have sent two AC Milan kits.”

A source tells British tabloid The People, “Jade was so touched that David and Victoria said such kind words to her. She was very happy that they had taken the time to write and think of her boys.

A source said: “The baby issue is a bit of a sore point. In Victoria’s eyes it’s not the right time. David’s future with Los Angeles Galaxy is so uncertain that planning for another child is, in Victoria’s eyes, premature. First, they need to sort out where they are going to be living.

“Her refusal has upset David as he feels his life is going in the right direction. He’s loving playing soccer again and what would complete everything for him would be a fourth child.”

David, 33, has just had his loan move to AC Milan extended and is trying to make the deal permanent so he can extend his career with the England national team.

However, Victoria, 34, is said to be reluctant to relocate the family to Italy and is happy to stay in Los Angeles as the boys have settled in school and she is busy carving out a successful fashion career.[/lang_en] (more…)

She’s modelled a few eye-catching garments in her time, but Victoria Beckham’s latest outfit was positively hypnotic.

Only days after stepping out in a 1960’s style military outfit, the stick-thin star turned heads again and this time appeared to have achieved an hour-glass figure overnight.

However, it was no more than a trick of the eye – an optical illusion – thanks to the clever use of some black and white horizontal lines.

The ?2,500 knee-length dress was a present from her close friend and designer Alexander McQueen.

Again, her choice of attire seems to have been inspired by a bygone era. The dizzying pattern was more reminiscent of the magic-eye puzzles that were all the rage back in the 1990s.

Whatever else is going on in the world, it is good to know we can always rely on Victoria Beckham.

As the country struggles under a cloud of depression and worry, I think our celebrities have a duty to keep our spirits up, to entertain us.

And here’s Posh doing just that – what she does best. As in, walking from a car into an airport wearing a ludicrous, but amazing outfit.

For this woman, getting dressed is an art form and the results never fail to make me smile.

Recently I berated certain celebs for flaunting their wealth in our skint faces. Posh is the exception.

I know she’s not affected by the credit crunch, and the very last thing I want to see is her in an outfit from Matalan, with a Dorothy Perkins bag.

I’ll never afford a £2,000 Valentino tote bag – or to pull it off even if I could – but I don’t begrudge VB hers.

I’d rather she spent her cash on silly, amazing things like that than something boring like a car. Just think how long this outfit took to put together – the only thing missing is matching grey lipstick.

I take my hat off to her, and fervently hope she doesn’t return the gesture. This is exactly what I want from my celebs at the moment, fun, eccentricity and a bit of ridiculousness.

Victoria was recently criticised for donning a leather chauffer-style cap, with matching grey suede jacket, but the ‘Time For Heroes’ rocker has leapt to her defence.

Pete, 29, said: “I think Victoria looks very sharp. She’s a very stylish lady and I really like her hats. I mean that.”

Despite his unkempt and messy appearance and drugs-ravaged looks, Pete – who previously dated supermodel Kate Moss – has regularly won praise for his sense of style by fashion critics and after modelling for fashion label Gio-Goi was even asked to design his own collection.

A source for the brand said at the time: “Peter looks fantastic as a model. We are very excited. We look forward to having Pete’s influence as a rock icon in the design process.”

Meanwhile, LILY ALLEN was in her white fox Prada hat again on Saturday as she and dad KEITH supported their beloved Fulham in the FA Cup clash with Man U – sitting next to England boss FABIO CAPELLO.

Sadly Lily’s side didn’t fare as well as Becks’s, going down 4-0 to the rampant Red Devils.

That meant they were out of the, er, hat for yesterday’s draw.

The pair went out for a posh dinner in the Italian city to celebrate the extension of his loan move to AC Milan.

The former England captain will play for the Azzurri for the remainder of the Serie A season, while Posh will stay with the kids in LA and make regular visits to Milan.

Last night they enjoyed an evening at the Da Giacomo restaurant, impressing diners with their typically dapper outfits.

In recent months Victoria has been back and forth from Milan to LA, plus fitting in trips to London, due to family and work commitments.

Finding time to enjoy each others’ company has been difficult, but the couple certainly made up for lost time last night and no doubt Becks will be hoping for more of the same in the coming months.

Especially if Posh carries on wearing outfits like this…
