[lang_en]David Beckham’s professional commitments seem to be hindering his role as a family man as the footballer missed his eldest son Brooklyn’s tenth birthday party.

BeckhamVictoria Beckham tried to make up for his absence by throwing Brooklyn a lavish birthday party which was attended by other celebrity kids including Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston.

Former Spice Girl Victoria, threw a party at the indoor skate park Skatelab in Los Angeles with plenty of goodies thrown in, while David was playing a exhibition match in Doha, Qatar, halfway across the globe, the Daily Mail reported.

The football star who is temporarily based in Italy for his stint at AC Milan had also missed his youngest son, three year old Cruz’s fancy-dress birthday celebrations two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Victoria tried her best to keep her young sons happy, as she earlier took them out for a fun ride at the Universal Studios where her three sons, enjoyed a free-fall simulation ride among others.[/lang_en]

Victoria Beckham looked like she was about to fly a plane rather than simply board one when she arrived at Los Angeles airport looking like a pilot.

Posh was dressed in head-to-toe grey with a military-style, knee-length suede trench coat and matching peaked cap.

The whole outfit was naturally completely with the usual bunion-inducing, sky-scaper grey heels, shades worn indoors that covered half her face and a humungously-big designer and equally grey handbag.

The other non-surprise was her lack of a smile – despite the fact she helped her son Brooklyn’s 10th birthday party at an LA skatepark.

Maybe she’s just down in the dumps as she’s missing hubby David – he’s currently in Qatar playing football with AC Milan.[/lang_en] (more…)

David Beckham joyfully phoned wife Victoria after sealing his dream move to AC Milan and told her: “Ciao Bella.”

Becks will stay in Italy until the end of the season – while Victoria will remain in LA with their three children.

A source said: “Victoria was over the moon. She knows how important AC Milan is to him and fully supports his decision. It will be tough with him being apart from the family for periods of time but they are stronger than ever.

“They are like two teenagers in love who can’t wait to see each other whenever they get the chance.

“Victoria thinks it is like how they were when they first starting dating.”

Under a unique “timeshare” agreement, Becks, 33, will stay with the Italian giants until the end of the season and then will play for LA Galaxy between July and October.

He will then return to Milan in November for the rest of the following season.

Posh’s acceptance of the deal draws a line under a difficult few months for them.

The 34-year-old was initially wary of her husband staying full-time in Milan because she didn’t want to move the whole family over.

The pair reached a state of “uneasy deadlock” with neither refusing to budge.

But Becks’ agent Simon Fuller – the man behind the Spice Girls – helped broker a deal which has suited them both. Speaking at the Prince’s Trust Ball to the Mirror, Fuller said: “The children will stay in LA with Victoria so that their schooling is not disrupted.[/lang_en] (more…)

Victoria Beckham’s fashion line was just touched by an Angel. A Victoria’s Secret Angel, that is.

Supermodel Heidi Klum donned a dress from the fashionista’s high-end dress collection while stumping for “The Perfect One” bra in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

And the “Project Runway” judge didn’t just wear Beckham’s $2,600 black plunge-neck Bidart dress – she gave it a personal nod of approval.

While Klum worked with a stylist for the event, she “definitely has a say in what she wears,” a rep tells the Daily News.

Beckham’s latest foray into fashion – following the 2006 launch of her dVB denim and sunglasses collections – has reportedly been selling well in the ‘States, with Bergdorf Goodman having trouble keeping the dresses in stock.

The stylish Brit told Harper’s Bazaar earlier this year that her new venture “has been a lifetime in the making.”

Klum isn’t the only celeb supporting Beckham’s fashion dreams: Madonna wore the budding designer’s Orthez dress in her steamy W magazine shoot alongside pal Jesus Luz.[/lang_en]

“I saw Victoria’s new clothing line and I simply loved it. She will definitely be giving the big designers a run for their money. That’s my girl,” femalefirst.co.uk. quotes Brown as saying.

“I think the collection is sexy from a woman’s perspective,” she added.

Mel B also feels that the pieces were as good as those of established labels like Christian Dior, Gucci and Chanel.[/lang_en]

Victoria was hobbling in her shoes while her sons were more appropriately dressed to have fun, reports dailymail.co.uk.

One onlooker said: “Victoria’s feet looked almost out of shape. Her toes were squashed down at the bottom of the shoe and her ankles were forced forward. The shoes even look like they were too big for her. There was a huge gap at the back.”

The family was visiting the theme park for fun and games where people usually wear jeans, trainers and baseball caps. But Victoria was dressed in a sleek black dress, oversize sunglasses and favourite Louboutins. [/lang_en] (more…)

Brooklyn Beckham really had the wind put up him at the weekend – with mum’s blessing.

The daredevil lad, who will be 10 on Wednesday, was suspended in a column of air at a high-tech vertical wind tunnel in Hollywood.

Mum Victoria took along Brooklyn, Romeo, six, and Cruz, four, for the indoor freefall skydive sessions at Universal Studios on Saturday.

The lads had a brief training class to explain the safety rules and then got kitted out with helmets and little jumpsuits.

There was no jumpsuit for stylish Posh, who turned up in a chic little black number, shades and extremely high heels.

She didn’t take part in the skydive although, judging by the size those shoes, she virtually had her head in the clouds anyway…[/lang_en] (more…)

[lang_en]VICTORIA BECKHAM is “tormented” over her soccer star husband DAVID’s proposed move from Los Angeles to Milan.

The star couple and their three sons moved to California when Beckham signed for Major League Soccer side L.A. Galaxy in 2007. He has recently been playing for Italian giants AC Milan on loan in a bid to resurrect his international career – and this month (Feb09) spoke of his desire to move there permanently. But he admits the family is torn between supporting his career and settling in America.

He tells British tabloid The People, “My family is the no.1 priority and I want to do what’s best for the children. They adore the U.S. and have settled well there. But at the same time, there is no doubt that if I want to keep playing for my country the best platform is in Milan.

“Victoria is as tormented as I am by all this. She is having sleepless nights and is hardly eating. I am worried about her – she is my wife and I want what is best for her as well. We both know this is a massive decision.”
The couple relocated to Los Angeles following Beckham’s transfer from Spanish outfit Real Madrid with their three sons; Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six, and Cruz, three.[/lang_en]
