Melanie Chisholm joined Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge on the red carpet on Friday for the ‘Our Greatest Team Rises – BOA Olympic Concert’ in London.

Like the Duchess, the former Spice Girl also showed her support for a British designer by wearing a Victoria Beckham dress.

Her super-chic nude silk jersey dress with elegant draping was perfected with a contrasting black grosgrain belt.

I’m glad she didn’t opt for nude on nude.

This is a great look for Mel C. I can even give her a pass on the black pumps, but I do wish she’d worn a VB gown instead.

She was the only one not to wear a gown to this event.

Eva Longoria had a very busy day promoting the last ever episode of ‘Desperate Housewives’ which airs in the US on May 13.

The actress started her day at ‘Good Morning America’ in New York City where she was spotted signing autographs for fans wearing an Elie Saab dress.

Her dove-grey cap-sleeve dress from the Spring 2011 collection was teamed with a gorgeous pair of Brian Atwood purple suede ‘Nash’ slingbacks.

Eva’s next stop was the Ed Sullivan Theater where she donned a Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 dress.

Her sporty black body-con dress with pale-grey grosgrain shoulder straps was once again styled with an interesting pair of Brian Atwood heels.

The blush satin ‘Vanity’ sandals have a black heel and a black fringe and gold accents at the back.

Is anyone else sad to see the end of ‘Desperate Housewives’?

Victoria Beckham is a working mother who has four children and a growing fashion empire. She has no time for vacations and works a lot, even too much sometimes, which explains why she looks so tired at glam events she has to attend. But these things are nothing compared to the fact she can forget her son at home and drive to his school without him. Victoria definitely needs to take a break.

And here is the story, which is both funny and serious, told by Posh herself:

This is a funny story. I got up in the morning, and I knew that I had a whole morning full of conference calls. So I got up early with Harper, sorted Harper out, got all the kids their breakfast, got them ready for school, put Harper in the car seat, and said, ‘Come on, kids, we have to get going or we’re going to be late’ – every morning I take Brooklyn, and David takes the little boys to school. We take it in turns because they go to two different schools. So I jump in my Range Rover, put the car seat in, put my iPod on – obviously very important – and I drive to school. And then I realized, I’d left Brooklyn in the kitchen. I was driving along, talking away, and all the sudden, I looked at the front seat, and I was like, ‘Shit! Shit! I’ve forgotten something!’”

I’d gotten down the road, and I literally had to turn around and drive back up the driveway. And David was standing there in the driveway with all three boys, just [shakes her head]. And I felt like such an idiot because I was in such a rush. Harper was in the car, I was in the car, and we were on the way to school. But we did not have the child who needed to go to school.”

Has anything like this ever happened to you?

As you know Glamour magazine makes a list of Best-Dressed Women every year including only the most stylish celebrity females into it. And if all previous years their lists were more or less real, in 2012 it is very questionable. Kristen Stewart, who was once named a ‘fashion pariah’ and is known for wearing sneakers on the red carpet, has topped the Best-Dressed list and left such icons as Victoria Beckham and Kate Moss behind. To tell you the truth I am very surprised.

This is what Glamour wrote to explain their choice:

Whether she’s working bodycon Monique Lhuillier on the red carpet, or dressing down in jeans and a T-shirt, Kristen is always effortlessly on-trend. Her evolution from awkward teen to style queen has made the Twilight star a fashion icon every girl can relate to.”

Kristen Stewart is followed by Harry Potter star Emma Watson in the list of Best-Dressed Women of 2012. Glamour wrote about her:

Emma never puts a well-heeled foot wrong, from flying the Brit flag in Burberry trenches, to rocking fun Valentino and Dior frocks on the red carpet. A colour chameleon, she looks stunning in both rainbow brights and monochrome, cementing her place in the style set.”

Victoria Beckham comes third in Best-Dressed List of 2012 while she definitely has to be the first. Glamour says about Victoria Beckham:

Everyone from Blake Lively to Gwyneth Paltrow has been snapped in her designs, but no one does justice to Victoria Beckham quite like VB herself. Baby daughter Harper is her new favourite accessory – we love their adorable co-ordinating looks.”

We’ve seen her wear plenty of dark colours for her last few appearances, but Victoria Beckham finally lightened things up whilst attending a Lane Crawford commercial event in Hong Kong, China yesterday.

The designer wore a white dress from her Spring 2012 collection, which she wore with a white belt.

She teamed the dress with a pretty Miu Miu mint cardigan with floral appliques and nude Christian Louboutin ‘Highness’ peep-toes…yay.

Hopefully we’ve seen the last of those Tom Ford open-toe boots for a while.

A side-swept braid à la Katniss Everdeen, smoky eyes and glossy lips completed her look.

This is most definitely a BDOTW look.

Back in July 2010, Range Rover announced that Victoria Beckham would be the Creative Design Director for the special edition Range Rover Evoque model.

Nearly a year and a half later, the model was unveiled in Beijing, China, on Sunday.

Victoria wore three dresses from her Fall 2012 collection and thankfully only one was black.

At the photocall held at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, Victoria wore a simple black dress in her classic fitted silhouette.

With her hair down and sporting neutral makeup, VB completed her look with nude ankle-strap peep-toe heels, which is a refreshing change from the Christian Louboutin ‘Daffodiles’.

For afternoon tea, Victoria changed into a dove grey dress with a maroon collar and cuffs, plus those Tom Ford knee-high peep-toe boots I’m not crazy about. A side-swept ponytail, smoky eyes and a double wrapped leather belt completed her look.

In the evening VB opted to sweep her hair up and donned a dove grey, black and maroon colour-block dress which was also styled with the same open-toe boots.

I prefer the shoes from Look 1, but I prefer the dress of Look 2 and I wish the colour palette was totally different for Look 3.

Even though we’ve seen VB wear the collared dress in blue, Look 2 is my favourite on this occasion, even with the boots.

Following her three changes yesterday whilst launching the new Range Rover, Victoria Beckham was spotted at the Joyce Fashion Store in Beijing earlier today where an event was held to celebrate her VB and VVB collection.

This time she wore a red-and-black colour-block dress from her Fall 2012 collection.

You know I love VB, but those Tom Ford boots are driving me crazy. At this point I would take the ‘Daffodiles’ over these boots.

A dress like this is more elegant when teamed with pumps or sandals. Do you agree?

Victoria opted for smoky eyes again and a high ponytail.

Despite the huge box office success of ‘The Hunger Games’, Jennifer Lawrence is still promoting the movie.

Yesterday she was in Madrid tending to her promotional duties on the Spanish TV show ‘El Hormiguero’.

The actress wore her second Victoria Beckham dress in a row; this time the dress is from the mainline Fall 2012 collection.

Her colour-block black-and-dove-grey dress appears to be the love child of Look 17 and 18 sans the collar.

YSL ‘New Riveg’ platform sandals and an updo provided the finishing touches to her figure-hugging VB dress.

I love that she’s content with her womanly figure.

The Us Weekly Hot Hollywood Style Event took place at the Greystone Manor Supperclub in West Hollywood, California, last night.

Busy Philipps: The ‘Cougar Town’ actress is frustratingly inconsistent on the red carpet. She wore an Opening Ceremony dress with a shirt collar, printed top, and striped skirt accented with an orange belt. I would’ve liked to have seen this dress on someone like Lily Collins or Emma Roberts as the look feels too busy – pardon the pun – for the blonde actress. A high ponytail and Alexander McQueen shoes completed her look.

Jennifer Morrison: The actress is almost unrecognisable with flaming red hair à la Florence Welch. She was the one exception, wearing a pretty Andrew Gn Spring 2012 strapless dress. Usually one to wear light summery hues, I’m guessing this dark, mysterious look was to work with her new persona.

Olivia Munn: The actress wore a simple black ASOS midi tank body-conscious dress. She accessorized with a Stella & Dot divine statement necklace and carried a Linea Pelle clutch. I loved the look until I got to the black Gucci ankle boots. Stumptifying.

Julianne Hough: The actress/dancer wore a DKNY berry long-sleeve dress teamed with black Giuseppe Zanotti two-tone heels with an Stark ‘Jackie’ clutch. This is one of her better looks.

Autumn Reeser: The actress was probably my favourite at this event. She wore a super-cute summery multi-coloured striped dress with she teamed with nude accessories. The look is probably more suited to a daytime event, but adorable nonetheless.

Monica: The singer did look chic wearing a Victoria Beckham ¾-length-sleeve ivory dress, which we’ve seen Beyonce wear in navy. Patterned Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Daf’ heels completed her look.

Chelsea Kane: The actress joined the many stars we have seen sporting crop tops. She donned a black bustier and maxi wrap skirt by The Hellers for her sexy red-carpet look.

Carmen Electra: She looked quite cute wearing a Gold Heartloom dress with sparkling Christian Louboutin heels. Meus earrings and a gold embellished clutch completed her look.

Shannen Doherty: The actress kills this Lanvin dress. Her toga-inspired white dress was teamed with black Brian Atwood pumps. Easily the worst of the night.

‘Hot Hollywood Style’ or ‘Stylist’s Night Off’?

Emily Blunt made a guest appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ which aired yesterday in the US.

She played a few games of golf with Ellen after she discussed her latest movie ‘Salmon Fishing in the Yemen’.

The British actress wore a British designer on the show as she wore a Victoria Beckham Fall 2012 dress.

Her colour-block dress with a blue collar was complemented with blue sandals.

I did let out a small cry of ‘Yes’ when I saw the shoes.

A watermelon-pink lip colour and silver jewels completed her look.

Jennifer Lopez hit another fashionable home run out of the ballpark last night for the ‘American Idol’ top 7 to 6 live elimination show.

The judge wore a Victoria Beckham Spring 2012 frock, which we recently saw on WAG Abbey Clancy.

JLo’s orange sorbet VB halter dress with sporty grey straps was teamed with Lanvin leather, suede and wood platform sandals, plus a selection of signature JLo bling.

Wavy locks and flawless, as one would expect, makeup completed her look.

As we all know, VB’s dresses are tight fitted but have give due to the stretch material.

The creases on Jennifer’s dress in this picture are more a result of being seated than the dress being too tight.

On her arrival to the AI set, the dress looked flawless.

Victoria Beckham has tried a great variety of styles during her eventful past but she has never looked the way she looks in Harper’s Bazaar Espana: bold, exotic and red-head.

On two images Victoria Beckham, who does Harper’s Bazaar Espana cover, appears wearing amazing corsets from Versace and Dolce & Gabbana. But on the third photo the singer-turned-designer sports a very revealing black outfit that shows us some flesh we haven’t seen for quite a lot of time. Besides, she has something totally incredible, tribal-inspired on her head.
