David Beckstam Staying In Los Angeles Hey everyone I am Diana Madison for Hollyscoop. David Beckham cites 'family reasons' for cancelling Paris move and extending his time in Los Angeles. The designer boutiques of Paris will be a little disappointed after news that David Beckham snubbed a move to Paris Saint Germain. So Victoria will have to stick with the shops of Los Angeles for the time being. In what would have been a coup for the French side, Becks turned down a lucrative offer to join ex-Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti in the French capital after citing 'family reason' for his refusal. 'It's over,' Leonardo told L'Equipe. 'It's a shame. But the welfare of his family in Los Angeles, the wish not to change everything in his life, weighed heavily.' The club's sporting director Leonardo revealed today: 'He will not come to PSG.' Beckham, who is currently in the UK with his family on a winter break from America after winning the MLS title last November, is now expected to sign a new deal with LA Galaxy. When asked if he thought Beckham would stay in LA, Al Khelaifi replied: 'Yes, I think so. David Beckham is in Los Angeles and will stay there. He will not come, it's clear.' So does this mean David might even try acting while in LA? His buddy Tom Cruise thinks he would be a great co-star. Hey its Hollywood and anything goes. Victoria Beckham knows her stuff when it comes to fashion. But it does give us great pleasure to share that the former Spice Girl has won her first award at the 2011 British Fashion Awards at London's Savoy Hotel tonight, beating out other big names like Tom Ford, Burberry and Stella McCartney for Best Designer Brand. "We won!! Thank u so much to my amazing VB team!!!! Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion awards! X VB," she tweeted. "I am absolutely thrilled to have won the Designer Brand Award," Beckham said in a statement afterward. "To be recognized in this way in the company of Stella, Tom and Burberry was overwhelming. This is an award not just for me, but for Simon Fuller and my team who work with such passion and dedication with me."
