[lang_en]VICTORIA and DAVID BECKHAM were reportedly at the centre of a roadside scuffle this weekend (06-07Dec08) when the couple’s bodyguards squared up to the paparazzi.
The soccer stud is said to have exited his car in Los Angeles on Sunday (07Dec08) to confront a pursuing photographer. After the snapper refused to leave his vehicle, Beckham reportedly returned to his car and drove away with his wife, while the couple’s bodyguards went over and continued the dispute.
A brawl subsequently broke out, according to E! Online, and was attended by L.A. police.
A source tells E! Online, “They started fighting right in front of the police station… the bodyguards and the paparazzi started fighting. David went back to his car and he and Victoria drove off…The cops finally came and broke it up.”
Police have confirmed no one was arrested or injured during the incident.
Beverly Hills Police Department spokesman Sgt. Gregg Mader says, “We took a report at the scene, but no one was taken into custody or cited. We’ll review what we have to see if further action needs to be taken.”
The scuffle – which was reportedly caught on camera by some of the photographers at the scene – was also confirmed by the Beckhams’ publicist, who declined to comment as the incident is now a “legal matter”.[/lang_en][lang_es]VICTORIA y DAVID BECKHAM fueron el centro de un enfrentamiento al costado de la calle el pasado 06-07Dec08 cuando los guardaespaldas de la pareja se paro enfrente de los paparazzies como advirtiendo una pelea.
Se dice que el galán del fútbol salió de su auto en Los Ángeles el domingo 7 de diciembre 2008 para enfrentar a un paparazzi que los estaba siguiendo. Al ver que el fotógrafo se negaba a salir del auto, Beckham regresó a su auto con su esposa y se fue, mientras que los guardaespaldas de la pareja se acercaron al periodista y continuaron la disputa.
Una pelea se desató, de acuerdo con E! Online, y la policía de LA tuvo que intervenir. Una fuente dice a E! Online, ‘’Los guardaespaldas y el paparazzi comenzaron peleando justo enfrente de la estación de policía. David regresó a su auto y siguió su camino con Victoria. Los policías finalmente llegaron y calmaron las cosas.
La policía confirmó que no hubo ningún herido ni arresto.
El vocero del Departamento de Policía de Beverly Hills, el Sargento Gregg Mader asegura, “Hicimos los reportes necesarios en la escena, pero nadie fue llevado en custodia o citado a declarar. Revisaremos lo que tenemos que ver si se necesita hacer algo más.”
