SCOTTISH consultancy 999 Design has signed up Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment and is creating a website for one of his most high-profile clients, Victoria Beckham.

999, headquartered in Glasgow, expanded its digital department in July to capitalise on the boom in new media and secured the business from 19 following a competitive pitch.

The consultancy is currently at the design development stage of creating ADVERTISEMENTa Flash-animated website to support the launch of Beckham’s latest clothing range, to be unveiled before the end of the year.

Fuller, the man behind hit US TV series American Idol, manages the multi-billion-pound Beckham brand.

19 has also commissioned 999 to produce a website to support its new UK TV show What About Me? which launched on Channel 4 this month.

The series is the brainchild of award-winning musicians and filmmakers Jamie Catto and Duncan Bridgeman of hit band 1 Giant Leap.[/lang_en][lang_en]Catto, who co-founded British dance band Faithless in 1995, and Bridgeman have spent the past four years creating What About Me? to “explore the complexities of human nature on a global scale through music and film”.

999 reported turnover of £3.6m for the last financial year and expects to see a growth of more than 200% in its digital business by next July.

Aileen Geraghty, managing director of 999, said: “Numerous agencies out there are strong on the technical aspects of digital marketing but often lack the creative or brand knowledge. By marrying these technical skills with our brand and design capabilities, we aim to become a leading player.”[/lang_en]
