The 63-year-old actress insists beauty can be applied to men as well as women and singled out the soccer star as an “Adonis”.
She said: “I am just not beautiful. Keira Knightley is beautiful and Kate Moss — it’s about having a pure aesthetic. “And men can be beautiful. The most beautiful of all, the Adonis of our time, is David Beckham. Everything about his face is just… ”
‘The Queen’ star also had praise for David’s wife, Spice Girls star turned fashion designer, Victoria.
She added: “Victoria is stylish to the max. And she’s gorgeous, though I wish she’d smile a little more.”
Helen hopes to follow in Victoria’s footsteps to launch her own clothing line. She explained to Glamour magazine: “I would call it DWS: Dresses With Sleeves. There are no dresses with sleeves and we need to bring back the sleeve: fine, see-through, long or short.”[/lang_en][lang_es]Helen Mirren piensa que David Beckham es el hombre más hermoso del mundo.
