I’m much less worried about a the reactors onboard Naval submarines. Those can be moved or anchored in the threat of a hurricane, and are less likely to have bad things happen in an earthquake.
Ironically, nuclear reactors provide just over 50% of South Carolina’s power. The two in this state are near Columbia and Greenville. Coal provides around 40%.

Ok those are fake websites and they do not infect your computer just by clicking into them you have to click on the download. My friend in the dorms did last year and i fixed her computer in twenty minutes. You don’t realize that people have to click on that stuff. I never click on anything like that. I torrent all day and i have yet to get a virus or spyware on my PC. (likely because of Kypresky.)

This is just the beginning.. I could add 100 more if you like. Your free tethering is no different then getting free tethering on an iPhone. It is not carrier supported (At least on AT&T) and they will always be working to try and block it.
On android I enjoy every game made on NES, SNES, gameboy, Gameboy advance, Saturn, Genesis, and for higher end phones N64, DS, Playstation, with PS2 comming. Thats millions of games I have access too. Don’t tout its illegal. Illegal or not its still a benefit of android.
Sorry I don’t watch movies on my 3.5 inch screen not worth it. Can’t wait to get the transformer and watch it on the real web browser though.

:D :p Whatever, I was curious and they are the only one’s I’ve seen in the past hour.
There’s not one added feature that a student/hobbyist/professional or game changer shouldn’t like.
Things like Magnetic Timeline would actually help an editor cut faster. I digress again.
Things like Magnetic Timeline however, COULD make certain tools like trim, roll, and slip not needed. I am sure they’ll be in the palette, but no more trim –> highlight –> grab and move –> deselect. You just move the clip. I’d like to see that in more detail though, the video had it cut off.
Another example of what some may be talking about . . . Nesting and Compound clips. Nesting was nice, but terribly executed. Compound Clips ——>>>>>>> Nice!

If so, I must have a defective iPad since mine was completely useless until I connected it to iTunes ON A PC… 
And just simply in general anti-virus software is useless on Mac, so why would anyone download and install any anti-virus, defender or scanner is above me.

I know it’s not "real" ie programme has free-rain to do what it pleases in the background. But how is it anymore than a marketing tag for geeks?
Outside of Apple’s app and music apps, all other applications go into a saved state; i.e. not running in the background.

The other day I was in the queue at the grocery store and some dude was playing some noob game on his iOS phone… I was like "dude, you should be playing that on a PS3" and he was all "yeah but where would I plug it in and set-up the TV?" and I was like "just use the NGP" and he said "Great, where can I buy that?"

When you subscribe to cable, you pick a package that provides you with the channels that you want. There are various packages, but ultimately it’s all just video streaming over a cable (bits in this day and age, not analog)…
Based on yours and others arguements, why can’t we all just pay for basic cable and get all 500+ channels plus the premium channels for free? Very simply, you’re paying for a package with specific features….
No no, as long as you abide by the amount of data in the plan it should not matter how you use it.
You can’t steal what you paid for, you buy 100 cable channels that is what you get and use
You buy 2gb and use 1gb you have used 1gb no matter if its on the phone or laptop. 1gb= 1gb
With your cellular service, you chose a package that meets your needs. You have 3 options for data plans at this point, well, 4 technically…
1) Your grandfathered unlimited plan
2) 250mb
3) Data Pro 2GB
4) Data Pro 2GB + Tethering 2GB for a total of 4GB….
Ok? the tethering give you 2gb for the money I see that and I have read the tethering and Data pro are added to total 4gb for the charge. So you and At&t prove my point thank you! Data=Data, they add it together and it is the same.
Tethering is not the same as using the data on your device, essentially tethering is using your phone as a modem. You data plan (which I’m assuming is either unlimited or 250mb) does not include the feature of using your phone as a modem, that’s what the extra charge is for….
If you want to tether, you need to pay for the appropriate package. Just like if you want HBO, Showtime, or HDTV you need to pay for the appropriate cable package…

Tethering does not do something different to AT&t, its just using Data
you may not understand how Data is used from the source but I assure you there is no difference to AT&t when you tether and when you surf YOUTUBE on the phone.
To At&t Data=Data and its been their words not mine every time its printed by them.

But to be honest, I am hoping this is just one device of many TV integrated services for apple.
ie,
1- more dvr hdtv functionality
2- hdmi output in 1080p for television of computer and hdtv content
3- blu-ray drive for movies and for data use
4- Apple Televisions/monitors (yes tv’s with speakers and hdmi inputs in addition to computer inputs)
5- Itunes movie shop with HDTV Rentals, not have to purchase everything, but instead be able to rent with unlimited views for 1 week. and viewing window can start when user initiates, ie, download lots of movies for a trip, then go view
well i can always hope.
lets hope for a 60" Apple tv/monitor is coming for release soon. this would power a home theater and be usable for much more

I don’t believe the default .zip file handler will expand these zip files correctly. It will only unzip inside its own folder. At least, that used to be the case. Perhaps there is an exploitable bug there which has cropped up more recently.
I suspect they are taking advantage of one of the other security holes in OS X to get items added to login items, etc. Presumably this is at the user level only so I’m not sure even a "standard" user will be less at risk (there are minor differences between admin and standard users, such as needing permission to add something to /Applications, but if the malware here (it isn’t a virus as it doesn’t self-propagate; it isn’t a trojan as it isn’t disguised on entry) relies on that permission it was just poorly written. Each user has an Applications folder that even standard users can write to.
Having been in a big quake – I know how scary it is and hope that all their preparation helps.
Sorry but I think I have lost hope for OS X. I got the media center edition OS with the new computer I am building with dual tuner TV card. Watching tv via my xbox 360 is a dream. Mac will never be able to accomplish this task. Front row sucks.
If I bought a new mac pro (which I won’t because its going to be a rippoff) I would just run XP on it.
For instance, I got two Radeon 16xPCIe X1600xt supporting crossfire with 512mb ram each from newegg for $120 each. Everything is just cheaper.
After a while you get to a point in your work where you realize seeing the neat apple OS is just not that important. Not when you can run crappy XP (which sorry to disappoint never crashes) for 1/3rd the price and 4x the speed.
Comon apple, make a media center mac and figure out a way to use PC graphics cards. After spending $500 on my Radeon 800xt with 256mb ram I wil l NEVER do it again. Not when I can get dual crossfire cards for half the price and 4x the performance.
I guess I am a half switcher. Using macbook pro but XP only. LOL!

That’s the Kentsfield chip not the Clovertown (Xeon) CPU but the benchmarks are interesting.
Just as expected the Quad cores are only going to be a big improvement for the software that can utilize them. Software will catch up with multicores, hopefully by Q2 07 when I’ll be buying a new machine.
What contract did I physically sigm when I got my phone? The only thing I signed was a credit card receipt. All you idiots need to read up about Ma Bell and the **** they tried pulling years ago. It’s headed back in that direction now.
