Victoria Beckham is ‘honoured’ to be up for top fashion award
Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham has joined Twitter and announced she is ‘honoured’ to be up for a top fashion award.
Victoria, 36, seems very happy to have been shortlisted for the British Fashion Council’s Designer Brand of the Year and took to the social networking site to express her excitement.
She wrote yesterday: “So honoured to be nominated for designer brand of the year from the British Fashion Council!!!!in love and light x VB x.”
The pop star turned fashion icon is up against big brands Mulberry, Burberry and Pringle for the honour.
The wife of footballer David Beckham joined Twitter earlier in the week.
She first tweeted: “Finally!! Leaving for UK tomorrow “Airport is my runway!!!” Can’t wait for fashion week!
