[lang_en]David Beckham has settled in well since his move to Milan, already making a large impact in his loan spell.
Many reports indicate Milan would like to keep the English midfielder until beyond his expected return date to the LA Galaxy of March 9 and it appears his wife, Victoria, is in favour of the idea.
“I am happy, because I know David is happy in Milan, explained the former member of the Spice Girls, according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport. “It’s wonderful to see he has already scored some goals in this like, I jump for joy when he scores.”
The 34-year-old was then asked how she enjoyed the staying in the ‘fashion capital’ of the world.
“I know many people here, especially from the world of fashion: Dolce and Gabbana, Armani and his staff, Cavalli, Berardi. The city is vibrant and full of energy and passion. You always eat well, there is no reason not to appreciate Milan.[/lang_en][lang_en]
“They had written I’d never set foot here becuase it was polluted, but I never said anything of the sort.”
It appears that ‘Golden Balls’ has his wife’s blessing should he end up in Milan a while longer. His contract with Milan currently does run until June, but the Rossoneri have gentleman’s agreement with the LA Galaxy that he return early in March.
Posh Spice has declared the Beckham family are happy in Milan.
LA Galaxy star David Beckham has hinted several times he is eager to make the loan move to Serie A permanent, but it was reported the main reason he wouldn’t leave LA was because of Victoria’s wishes.
“I am happy because I know he is happy at Milan,” she told the Italian edition of Vanity Fair magazine, which hits the shelves today.
“It’s great to see that he has already started to score goals in your tournament. I jump for joy whenever David scores a goal.
“I like Milan a lot. I know so many people there, especially in the world of fashion: Dolce and Gabbana, Armani and his staff…
“The city is vibrant, full of energy and passion. You eat well. There are no reasons not to appreciate Milan.
“People wrote I wouldn’t set foot in it because of the pollution, but I never said anything like that.”
The three Beckham boys – Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – have stayed behind in Los Angeles for school while their father’s future is decided.
“The children have stayed in Los Angeles,” she said. “At the moment I am there with my parents. I go back and forth between America, London and Milan.”[/lang_en]
