BeckhamVictoria Beckham tried to make up for his absence by throwing Brooklyn a lavish birthday party which was attended by other celebrity kids including Gwen Stefani’s son Kingston.

Former Spice Girl Victoria, threw a party at the indoor skate park Skatelab in Los Angeles with plenty of goodies thrown in, while David was playing a exhibition match in Doha, Qatar, halfway across the globe, the Daily Mail reported.

The football star who is temporarily based in Italy for his stint at AC Milan had also missed his youngest son, three year old Cruz’s fancy-dress birthday celebrations two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Victoria tried her best to keep her young sons happy, as she earlier took them out for a fun ride at the Universal Studios where her three sons, enjoyed a free-fall simulation ride among others.[/lang_en]

Brooklyn Beckham really had the wind put up him at the weekend – with mum’s blessing.

The daredevil lad, who will be 10 on Wednesday, was suspended in a column of air at a high-tech vertical wind tunnel in Hollywood.

Mum Victoria took along Brooklyn, Romeo, six, and Cruz, four, for the indoor freefall skydive sessions at Universal Studios on Saturday.

The lads had a brief training class to explain the safety rules and then got kitted out with helmets and little jumpsuits.

There was no jumpsuit for stylish Posh, who turned up in a chic little black number, shades and extremely high heels.

She didn’t take part in the skydive although, judging by the size those shoes, she virtually had her head in the clouds anyway…[/lang_en][lang_en]

Victoria Beckham gave her son Brooklyn a special treat for his upcoming birthday – a flight in a wind tunnel.

Brooklyn will turn 10 on Wednesday (04Mar09) and to celebrate, the star took all three of her sons for a day out at California’s Universal Studios theme park.

The youngster donned a special jumpsuit and helmet for his skydiving simulation in the high-tech vertical device.

Brooklyn was followed by his younger brother Cruz, four, who also tried out the free fall experience, while Beckham’s other son, Romeo, six, an epilepsy suffered, was forced to watch from the sidelines.

The boys’ father, soccer star David Beckham, is also a fan of daredevil activities, having recently completed a bungee jump on a trip to New Zealand.[/lang_en]

The former Spice Girl – who has three sons, Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, six, and three-year-old Cruz, with soccer star husband David – is keen for one of the boys to enter into the legal profession in order to save her money.

She said: “I’d quite like one of them to become a lawyer. Although I don’t care what any of them does as long as they are happy. But it would definitely be useful to have a lawyer in the family – me and David would save a fortune!”

However, it seems unlikely any of the boys will follow in their mother’s footsteps and become a pop star.

Victoria, 34, recently revealed none of her sons will listen to the Spice Girls’ albums.

She said: “Brooklyn just loves The Beatles. I can’t get him to listen to any of my records, though!”[/lang_en]

“They’ve all got their own headed notepaper for thank-you letters,” Posh tells London’s The Times about her boys: Brooklyn, 9, Romeo, 6, and Cruz, 3.

“People are always remarking on how well-behaved the boys are.”

Beckham, 34, attributes her appreciation for etiquette to some lessons learned from her own parents. “My mum and dad were real sticklers for good manners and so are me and David,” she said.

She also says she shoves aside newspaper speculation about her life, claiming she doesn’t “read the stuff” written about her.

“I’m not interested in gossip,” she says. “Some of the people that I’m friends with in America – you know, Tom [Cruise] and Katie [Holmes] – they get it, too, and we laugh about all these stupid things.”[/lang_en]
