OT: Polish President Lech Kaczynski died in jet crash

I know this is not the place for such news but I wanted to let you know what’s going on my mind as a Polish citizen.

Our President, Lech Kaczynski, his wife and almost 90 highest military and civilian leaders died today in Russia in a plane crash. They were going to Katyn to participate events marking the 70th anniversary of the massacre of Polish officers by Soviet secret police. The reason of the plane crash was the thick fog in Smolensk (western Russia). Polish citizens are shocked, devastated and in mourning.

Please let me ask you to commiserate with Poles and think about this terrible loss for a while.
